The Audi E-Tron GT Goes Green

Here at Lyon Waugh Auto Group, we're always excited to get a closer look at a unique concept vehicle that shows what one of our favorite auto brands can really do. Automakers brought some innovative models to this year's Los Angeles Auto Show, but one that stood out was the Audi E-Tron GT Concept. This new car shows that you can go green in style.

This new Audi concept is the third “E-Tron” model, following a previous concept car and a sportback SUV. This is just a concept for now, but it's worth paying attention to because it will become a production vehicle in some form sometime in 2020. This stylish four-door coupe is roughly the size of the current Audi A7, but it has a sculpted design that's more focused on aerodynamics. The production version of the Audi E-Tron GT is sure to attract attention for all of the right reasons.

Of course, we need to mention what's under the hood. This impressive green model will put out more than 580 horsepower with the assistance of motors on both the front and rear axles. A lithium-ion battery pack that's at least ninety kWh in size will give the Audi E-Tron GT a range of nearly 250 miles. A stylish green car that offers the range you need is no longer the stuff of science fiction. It can even charge without wires on an induction pad. It can even charge up to eighty percent in just twenty minutes!
