  • Excellent Hybrid

Ordered as GLC 350e Hybrid. Excellent ride quality for a small SUV. Even with the optional 20" wheels and tires. Surprising performance from the 2.0L turbo 4 cyl. Seamless transition from gas to electric. You literally will not feel the gas engine start or stop. Fuel economy and electric range varies. Our all around fuel economy is right at 37.4 mpg. Electric range varies from 14 miles summer (lower due to A/C use) to 17 miles winter. We have gotten as many as 30 miles in hybrid mode during the summer when traveling secondary roads.

Is the AMG GLC 63 S my best car? No. That's the E53 for all around everything. Does it make you feel great? Yeah, It's up there. It's practical if you don't have a big family. Faster than any other small SUV, has every creature comfort, and THIS is one of the rare cars you can drive in Comfort and Race modes - and BOTH work well. It can scare you if you launch it, and you can drive it for 1000 miles in comfort. What else do you want? Faster than a Corvette, as comfortable as most luxury SUVs, and almost roomy. And regardless of what anyone says, the car looks HOT.

Great styling but poor performance. After 6k miles it seems the GLC300 is not a great purchase, may be an okay purchase but definitely not great. Lacking cargo room, struts on hood and hatchback are failing and transmission is hard shifting. Interior has uncomfortable seats and poor visibility. Driveability is poor compared to our previous Honda Pilot. Braking is very good but shifting has proven to be harsh. Would look at other small SUV options. Very disappointed :(
